Metalcraft Tags Take the L in Chicago

In my last entry I indicated my family and I were headed on vacation and I would keep an eye out for our tags and look for additional potential applications. There were plenty of potential applications, but I really want to focus on two scenarios which, again, made me realize how Metalcraft Labels and Tags really do impact a lot of different areas of everyday life. The first happened, of all places, on the "L" in Chicago. I look over at the door and sure enough I see one of our Ceramic-on-Stainless Steel Nameplates - products great for extremely harsh environmental conditions. So naturally I had to get a picture. Not the greatest photo, but keep in mind I had three kids with me and we were on our way to a Cubs game so those cars can get pretty packed with passengers. I explained to the man I had to lean over in order to get the shot that I work for the company that produced the plates.

The second scenario was a conversation I had with some friends of ours. We were discussing what Metalcraft does and when I started talking about RFID her husband who recently returned from a deployment in the Middle East said he knew exactly what I was talking about and how he had seen tags on some of their containers. Because he was familiar with RFID tags and he was in the military I asked him about UID tags - explaining they were a label with a 2D bar code and he said he had also seen those being used. So there you go - three different Metalcraft product lines and countless application opportunities for even more of our products. I wonder where I will see our products turn up next? I'd love to post a picture from a customer of their application using Metalcraft products. Feel free to send it to me at juliad@idplate.com.
