One of the largest expenses when implementing an asset tracking program is the labor cost to actually apply the labels to the asset. Therefore, it make sense you would want to make sure the labels are being applied correctly to the asset in order to maximize their effectiveness, right? Proper label application is key to ensuring asset tags don't curl up at the ends or fall off, etc. At Metalcraft we feel proper application is so important that we include application instructions plus cleaning solution and a roller with every order of asset tags we send out. Now from time to time we have a customer let us know our tags aren't sticking as well as they should and more often than not we can trace that back to improper label application rather than bad adhesive. In order to minimize the possibility of this happening we have put together a label application video to not only show how to properly apply asset tags, but perhaps more importantly, how not to apply asset tags and what can happen when asset tags are not properly applied.
